Our seventh day in Japan was also our last day in Kyoto, so we took the opportunity to see some last sights before packing up and leaving for Hiroshima. We didn't do much on our first day in Hiroshima, but we did have an "exciting" dining experience - be sure to check out the video on page seven.
This was a hot water thermostat. You could turn it on and off, and increase or decrease the temperature of the hot water. Every time we tried to increase the temperature, a cartoonish voice would begin to natter at us in Japanese...we still don't know what it meant!
