Winter Rose

At the end of January I decided to take a few pictures of a few roses that happened to be in our house. I took them out onto our deck and shot them against the backdrop of snow...I'm not particularly impressed with the background; the photos would have turned out better without our dead shrubs being visible. ;-)

Exploring Snow, January 2008

The snow was fresh this morning, so I decided to step into my backyard and take a few pictures of it. These are also my first public photos with the Nikon D300 (an amazing camera!).

Fall 2006 Scenery in Calgary

Although the fall season in Calgary tends to be rather short, before the snow falls things are very beautiful here as the leaves change colour.
