At 7:20 AM on August the 16th, Logan Robert Dunn came into this world via C-Section. He was 20 inches long, weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces, and was born at the Calgary Foothills hospital. The staff there were great – special thanks to Dr. Paul Martyn for the great job he did on the surgery. This is a wonderful blessing, and I’m humbled and awed that God would give us such a beautiful baby to care for and raise. This is where we started at 5:27 AM...in the admitting room of Unit 51 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. They confirmed Ashley was in labour, and because the baby was still breech, an emergency C-Section was the only option. Ashley is smiling because neither one of us realizes we've forgotten the cord blood kit at home. Not long after this photo, I'd jump in the car and race back home to get it.
